On October 9, 2025, IACT, ComEd, and host, Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, held its Oktober Fest, EV Truck Lunch N Learn at Springbrook Prairie Forest Preserve. Keep on Truckin’ is an annual educational event to help guide fleet managers in their next steps to EV readiness and transition initiatives.
The event was an Oktoberfest style Lunch N’ Learn & Ride N Drive, where attendees heard about newly-vetted truck resources, learned about best practices, installation, and EV charging, and funding, grants, and how ComEd is making connections to easy solutions. Attendees also had the opportunity to check out the electric trucks on display, including a Ford Lightning, BrightDrop Box Truck, Ford E-Transit, and ComEd’s electric bucket truck.
