The transportation sector is one of the largest contributors to U.S. greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. According to the Inventory of U.S. Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Sinks 1990–2022, transportation accounted for the largest portion (28%) of total U.S. GHG emissions in 2022.
One of the most impactful ways to reduce harmful transportation emissions is to address the environmental and air-quality impacts of public and private fleets. At IACT, we work with communities, fleets, municipalities, and industry partners to advance cleaner transportation solutions that improve air quality and help create healthier communities.
